Anyway! A freakishly long Sunday morning nap and the Ryder Cup being on the tv (ALL WEEKEND!) meant I managed to pick it up and finish! It's covered in flaws, the fabrics weren't well thought out (more of a what do I have in my fabric bag?) but here it is... And I'm rather proud...
18cm squares...
Sew in 2s...
Iron after every sew...
Build it up...
Complete panel...
White border, cotton batting, pretty backing...
Smile smugly.
Nice work! I could not sew to save my life:-)

That's a beautiful quilt! I think the fabrics go quite well! I've only made one as a gift, I was stood in C&H fabrics for a good hour trying to choose and was happily surprised that my choice popped so well! Definitely addicted to it now my only problem is finding affordable fabric!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! Found you via Mommy Mingle blog hop and I'm excited to follow along. Check out my blog if you get a chance.
